Organization Settings
Organization Settings is where you manage the basics of your workspace: your branding, your name and web address, your security policy, and the option to delete the organization. You find it under Settings in your dashboard.
Who can access it
Only admins can open Organization Settings. Members are sent back to the dashboard if they try to reach it. A few actions go further: changing settings needs admin rights, and deleting the organization can only be done by the owner. For more on roles, see Team Management.
Branding and customization
The first card is where you make Inletbase look like your brand.
- Logo: upload your logo. It shows across your dashboard and in your emails. Available on every plan.
- Primary and secondary colors: set your brand colors with a color picker or a hex code. Primary is used for main buttons and active states, secondary for accents. Custom colors are a paid feature, so on the free plan they are locked with an upgrade note.
- Email footer: the footer is no longer set here. It is part of the email itself now, so you edit it directly in the message alongside everything else. Open a form or chatbot, go to Emails, and change or delete the footer line like any other text.
Organization profile
The second card holds your organization identity.
- Organization name: the name shown to your users.
- Workspace URL: your unique web address, like
inletbase.com/your-workspace. It has to be unique, and Inletbase checks whether it is available as you type.
Security
The Security card covers two things:
- Your own two-factor authentication: add an authenticator app (like Google Authenticator or Authy) so you enter a code each time you sign in.
- Require two-factor for everyone: as an admin, you can turn on a policy that makes all team members set up two-factor before they can use the dashboard.
The full walkthrough lives in Two-Factor Authentication.
Saving your changes
When you edit anything, an Unsaved changes note appears and the Save Changes button turns on. Click it to save. If your workspace URL is already taken, saving stays disabled until you pick a free one.
Danger zone: deleting the organization
At the bottom is the Danger Zone. Only the organization owner sees the delete action; everyone else sees a note that only the owner can do this.
Deleting is permanent. It removes the organization and everything in it: all forms and submissions, contacts and activity logs, team members and their accounts, API keys and integrations, and your subscription and account. To go ahead, you type the organization name to confirm. If you have an eligible subscription, a prorated refund is issued. This cannot be undone.
Frequently asked questions
Who can change organization settings?
Admins. Members do not have access to the Settings screen and are sent back to the dashboard if they try to open it.
Why are the color fields locked?
Custom brand colors are a paid feature. On the free plan you will see a lock and an upgrade note. Your logo is available on every plan.
Where do I edit the footer on my emails?
In the email itself. Open a form or chatbot, go to Emails, and edit the footer line directly in the message like any other text. There is no separate footer setting any more.
Can I change my workspace URL?
Yes. Edit the workspace URL in your Organization Profile. It has to be unique, and Inletbase checks availability as you type.
Who can delete the organization?
Only the organization owner. You confirm by typing the organization name, and the delete removes the organization and all its data for good. If you have an eligible subscription, a prorated refund is issued.
