Inletbase Documentation
Inletbase is a form backend and AI chatbot platform. Keep the forms you already have on WordPress, Webflow, Framer, or plain HTML, and connect them to Inletbase with one link (your form endpoint). We collect every submission, block spam, email you, send an AI-written reply, and add the contact to your CRM. You can also build a custom AI chatbot, train it on your own website and documents, and add it to your site with one small script.

Inletbase handles two things: your form submissions and your website's AI chatbot. Here's how each one works. You set everything up with a few clicks, no code needed.
How forms work
- 1Connect. Add a form in the dashboard, then paste one link, add our small script, or install a plugin.
- 2Capture. Every entry is checked, filtered for spam, and saved, and your team gets an email.
- 3Reply. Inletbase sends an instant reply: an AI-written email based on your business, or your own template.
- 4Automate. Set rules to send replies, call webhooks, and add contacts to your CRM.
- 5Track. Review submissions, contacts, and activity from one dashboard.
How chatbots work
- 1Train. Add your website links, upload files (PDF, Word, TXT, Excel), paste text, or write question-and-answer pairs.
- 2Customize. Choose how the chat looks, its welcome message, quick suggestions, and what leads to collect.
- 3Embed. Add one small script to your site. The chat bubble appears right away.
- 4Answer & collect. The chatbot answers using your content and saves new leads to your dashboard or CRM.

- A form you connect to your website. Each one has its own short name (a slug), fields, notifications, and workflow.
- API key
- A private code that lets your website send submissions to your account safely. No-code integrations create one for you; see the API reference.
- Submission
- One entry captured from a form. Every submission counts toward your monthly plan limit, no matter which website it came from.
- AI credits
- A monthly amount that powers AI auto-replies and chatbot answers. The amount depends on your plan.
- Chatbot (agent)
- An AI widget trained on your content that answers visitors and captures leads. Deploy one.
- Workflow
- A set of rules that runs automatically on each submission, such as sending replies, calling webhooks, or adding contacts to your CRM. Learn more.
