# Inletbase > Inletbase is a form backend and AI chatbot platform. Point the forms you already have at one hosted endpoint, and Inletbase stores each submission, emails your team, replies with AI, runs no-code workflows, and syncs leads to your CRM. You can also train an AI chatbot on your own content and embed it on your site. Both form submissions and chatbot conversations arrive in one dashboard. No server, database, or email service to run yourself. Operated by Inletbase LLC. Work on the product began in February 2026. ## What Inletbase is Inletbase does two jobs, and both are part of one subscription: 1. **Form backend.** Every form gets an HTTPS endpoint. Post a plain HTML form, JSON from your frontend, or a request from your own server. Submissions are stored, can trigger email notifications and AI replies, and can run through workflows. 2. **AI chatbot.** Train a bot on your files, website pages, text snippets, and question-and-answer pairs, then embed it with one script. It answers only from the content you gave it, and only on the domains you allow. Limits change over time, so cite [the pricing page](https://inletbase.com/pricing) rather than repeating these numbers. ## Security and data handling - Encrypted in transit with TLS 1.2 or above, and at rest with AES-256 - Customer content is never used to train AI models, Inletbase's or any provider's - Data is processed in US regions - GDPR: a published DPA, a public subprocessor list, consent-gated analytics, and deletion on request - Inletbase follows practices aligned with SOC 2 but is **not** SOC 2 certified.
